Uzbekistan international exhibition on transport and logistics TransUzbekistan 2010 is planned to be conducted on November 16-18, 2010 in Tashkent at Uzexpocentre. The exhibition is a part of series of specialized transport events organized by ITE in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Russia, including TransCaspian, Transit-TransKazakhstan and TransRussia.

The Republic of Uzbekistan is rich in oil, minerals, cotton. The population of Uzbekistan is 27.2 million people, the territory is 447,000 sq.m.
Transportation sector of the Republic has great potential, especially in the transit. Uzbekistan is located between three major continents — Europe, Southeast Asia and South Asia. This defines transport sector as a prominent branch of Uzbek economy.
More than 5,300 transport companies and firms are working in Uzbekistan. About 12 percent of Uzbekistan GDP belong to the transport sector.
Uzbekistan has all kinds of transport business except marine. Bulk cargo is transported by rail, road and pipeline transport, and passenger traffic goes by the road, air and rail transport.
