TASHKENT–SAMARKAND–BUKHARA- KHIVA- URGENCH - TASHKENT
ITINERARY PROGRAM:
Day 01, Arrive Tashkent
Arrival to Tashkent, welcoming at the airport and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Time for rest. Lunch. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Tashkent for 4 hrs: a visit to the Amir Timur Square, Theatre Square with the Opera House, Applied Art Museum, Earthquake Memorial, People's Friendship Palace with Abdul Kasim Madrassah and Alisher Navoi National Park, Independence Square. Dinner. Night in Tashkent.
Day 02, Tashkent–Samarkand
Breakfast in the hotel. AM drive to Samarkand (320 km, 4,5 hours). Arrive Samarkand, hotel check-in, lunch. PM sightseeing in Samarkand including visiting Gur-Emir Mausoleum- Grave of Timur (XV C), Registan Square (XV-XVII), Bibi-Khanum Mosque (CCXIV- XV) and Samarkand orient bazaar. Dinner. Night in Samarkand.
Day 03, Samarkand
Breakfast in the hotel. Full day in Samarkand.
AM sightseeing tour in Samarkand for 4 hrs:
Ulugbek Observatory (XV C), Excavation of an ancient city and museum of Afrosiyab, Tombstone of Saint Danyar, Lunch.
PM sightseeing for 3 hours Shakhi Zinda Necropolis (XIV-XV CC) and a visit to the "Samarkand-Bukhara Silk Carpets" factory where you can observe the whole process of weaving silk carpets based on “hand made” technology.
Dinner. Night in Samarkand.
Day 04, Samarkand – Bukhara
Breakfast in the hotel. AM drive to Bukhara (270 km, 4 hours). Stop en route at Rabat Malik Caravanserai and water pond “Sardoba” of the XII century. Arrive Bukhara, hotel check-in, lunch. PM sightseeing in Bukhara for 4 hours: The Ark Fortress (I-XX CC), Bolo Hauz Mosque (XVIII C), Samanids Mausoleum (IX-X CC), Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum (XII-XVI CC). Dinner. Night in Bukhara.
Day 05, Bukhara
Breakfast in the hotel. Full day in Bukhara.
AM sightseeing of Bukhara for 4 hours on foot along the old town of Bukhara from Poi- Kalyan complex with Kalyan Minaret (XII C) through orient bazaars with three trade domes of Toki Zargaron (XV C), Toki Sarrafon (XVI C), Toki Telpak Furushon (XVI C), Ulugbek Madrassah (XV C), Abdulazizkhan Madrassah (XVII C) to the Lyabi Hauz complex (XVI -XVII CC). Lunch at Lyabi Hauz.
PM sightseeing outside Bukhara for 3 hours:
Bagautdin Nakhshbandi Complex - a center of Sufism (XIV-XVI CC, 14 km outside the town), Sitorai Mokhi Khosa - summer residence of the last Emir of Bukhara (XIX-XX, 4 km outside the town), back to Bukhara and a visit to the Chor – Minor (Four Minarets, XIX C).
Dinner in Nadir Divan Begi Madrassah with folk show. Night in Bukhara.
Day 06, Bukhara – Khiva
Breakfast in the hotel. AM drive to Bukhara via the Kizilkum desert (460 km,7 hrs).
Stop en route near the Amu Darya River and for picnic lunch.
Arrive Khiva, hotel check-in, Dinner. Night in Khiva.
Day 07, Khiva/ Khiva – Urgench – Tashkent
Breakfast in the hotel. Full day in Khiva.
AM sightseeing including visits to the inner town of Ichan Kala (XIV-XX CC) with Muhamad Amin khan Madrassah, Kalta Minor Minaret, Kunya Ark, Muhamad Rahim khan Madrassah, Djuma Mosque and Minaret, Tash Hauli Palace.
Lunch in so called restaurant-Madrassah of the XIX century.
PM sightseeing for 2 hrs: Islam Khodja Minaret and Madrassah, Shirgazi khan Madrassah Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum. Dinner. Transfer to Urgench airport (30 km) for the flight to Tashkent. Arrive Tashkent, hotel check-in, night in Tashkent.
Day 08, Depart Tashkent
Transfer to the airport, depart Tashkent. End of the tour.
