Charavak Sea as the reservoir differently called is formed in the narrowing of Tyan-Shan rocky mountains by waters from Pskem, Koksu and Chatkal rivers. When the reservoirs is filled to capacity it's volume is 2 billions of cubic meters, the area of its surface is 40 square kilometers, and the length of coastline is about 70 km.
