Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive TashkentThe first day of your tour is simply an arrival day with no pre-arranged activities as tour participants might arrive in Tashkent on different airlines at different times. Regardless what time you arrive, you all will be met by our driver and transferred to the hotel for check-in. Overnight in Tashkent.
Day 2: Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva
Breakfast in the hotel. Early transfer to the airport and fly to Urgench. Arrive at Urgench airport and drive to Khiva (30 km), hotel check-in. Full day for sightseeing in Khiva: AM sightseeing including visits to the inner town of Ichan Kala (XIV-XX centuries) with Muhamad Amin khan Madrassah, Kalta Minor Minaret, Kunya Ark, Muhamad Rahim khan Madrassah, Djuma Mosque and Minaret, Tash Hauli Palace. PM sightseeing of Islam Khodja Minaret and Madrassah, Shirgazi khan Madrassah Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum. Overnight in Khiva.
Day 3: Khiva – Bukhara
Breakfast in the hotel. Drive to Bukhara via the Kizilkum desert (460 km, 7 hrs).
Stop en route near the Amu Darya River to see this ancient famous river known as Oxus from the Greek. Arrive Bukhara, hotel check-in. Free time. Overnight in Bukhara.
Day 4: Bukhara
Breakfast in the hotel. Full day in Bukhara. AM portion of city tour with visits to the Ark Fortress (IV-XX centuries), Bolo Hauz Mosque (XVIII century), Samanids Mausoleum (IX-X centuries), Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum (XII-XVI centuries). PM portion of s/s tour on foot along the old town of Bukhara from Poi-Kalyan complex with Kalyan Minaret (XII century) through orient bazaars with three trade domes of Toki Zargaron (XV C), Toki Sarrafon (XVI C), Toki Telpak Furushon (XVI C), Ulugbek Madrassah (XV century), Abdulazizkhan Madrassah (XVII century) to the Lyabi Hauz complex (XVI-XVII centuries). Overnight in Bukhara.
Day 5: Bukhara - Samarqand
Breakfast in the hotel. Today we drive outside Bukhara for sightseeing: Bagautdin Nakhshbandi Complex - a center of Sufism (XIV-XVI centuries, 14 km outside the town) and Sitorai Mokhi Khosa - summer residence of the last Emir of Bukhara (XIX-XX centuries, 4 km outside the town). Afternoon drive to Samarkand (280 km, 4 hrs). Hotel check-in upon arrival. Overnight in Samarqand.
Day 6: Samarqand
Breakfast in the hotel. Full day sightseeing of Samarqand includes the visits to Gur Emir Mausoleum (the grave of Amir Temur (Tamerlane or Temur the Lame), famous Registan Square with its three madrassahs of Ulugbek XV century, Sherdor XVII century and Tilla Kori XVII century), the Bibi Khanum Mosque, Samarkand oriental bazaar, Shokhi Zinda Necropolis (important pilgrimage site in Samarqand) and Ulugbek Observatory (XV century) Overnight in Samarqand.
Day 7: Samarqand– Tashkent
Breakfast in the hotel. Morning depart Samarkand and drive to Tashkent (320 km, 5 hours). Arrive in Tashkent and hotel check-in. Sightseeing tour of Tashkent in the afternoon: Old and new parts of the city including Khast Imom square, Chorsu Bazaar, Independence square, Theatre square, Applied Art Mueum and Amir Temur square. Overnight in Tashkent.
Day 8: Tashkent
Transfer to the airport and depart Tashkent. End of the tour.

Hotels and accommodation:
Accommodation on this tour will be arranged in the hotels that are equal to 3 star category. The hotels chosen for the tour feature double/twin sharing and single occupancy rooms with all necessary room facilities like air-conditioning, bathroom with bathtub or shower, refrigerator, satellite TV and IDD telephone (at least at the reception desk). The price of the tour is quoted based on double/twin sharing accommodation and single room supplement is paid separately as shown above (please see the abovementioned prices).
One of these hotels will be booked in each city:
Tashkent: Le Grande Plaza, Grand Nur, Grand Orzu
Khiva: Shahrezade, Zafarbek, Arkanchi
Bukhara: Old City, Lyabi House, Caravan
Samarkand: Malika Classic, Orient Star, Kamilla.
Transportation:
Transportation service is fully included from the very start till the end of the tour.
And type of vehicle varies depending on the number of people in the group:
- a minivan with 11 seats for a group up to 6 people;
- a minibus with 20 seats for a group up to 12 people.
Meals:
Only breakfasts are included throughout. We keep lunches and dinners excluded guessing that you might opt just for a snack or light meal, or even people sometimes don’t have any meal in the daytime having a great dinner instead. So, meals are optional on the tour.
Guides:
English speaking local guides will provide sightseeing tours in each city as specified in the itinerary program. In case the group size is at least 6 and more people, then an English speaking tour leader will be provided who will be accompanying the group and arranging all activities like sightseeing tours, hotel check-in, meals (if needed) and etc.
