Zargaron hotel has excellent location right in the center of ancient Bukhara and next to the architectural monuments, not far from Poi Kalon ensemle. One can walk to major places from here. It is an elegant looking hotel with a beautiful lobby and tasteful decoration. Zargaron hotel is inspired by the ancient name of this area. Zargaron came from Persian language and means "the quarter occupied by jewelers", where prior to the 20th century Bukhara jewelers lived& worked. The place for trading was a trade dome located in the same quarter. Zargaron hotel is constructed in architectural style of inhabited constructions of Bukhara of the 19th century and at the same time it offers modern facilities with air conditioning, satellite TV, digital telephone, mini bar and bathrooms with toilets.The hotel is nice place to stay to feel the atmosphere of the middle Ages with a help of the experienced staff.
Dining at Zargaron hotel
There is good buffet breakfast. You’ll admire greatly the variety that is available at the breakfast buffet. You can taste delicious and rich food for the dinner at the restaurant of the hotel at reasonable prices. The hotel has 2 yards, which are called outer and inner yards. In the past, the outer yards were used to be a reception for guests and the inner yard was used by the family only. There is a magnificent view from the hotel's inner yard and the summer bar to the old architecture buildings around. You can relax at the summer bar sipping a cold beer or green tea and admire perfect view of Kalyan Minaret.
Restaurant decorated in oriental style seats 36 persons. You can enjoy international and local cuisine cooked by skilful chef. From the terrace bar and three suite rooms with balconies and verandas have a spectacular view to the famous monuments. The small and peaceful yard of the hotel arranged in national style and has a small garden with decorative plants. On the second floor of restaurant is the open summer bar for 40 persons from which the panoramic view of the most part of the city opens and in a basement the winter bar is located.
Accommodation at Zargaron hotel
The rooms are spacious with good curtains, decent beds, cozy bedding material, fine furniture and good lighting. The bathroom is modern, new and clean. There are luxury and standard rooms at the hotel some of which have balconies facing the architectural ensemble of Poi Kalyan. Zargaron hotel features 17 guest rooms including four single, ten doubleand three suite rooms with private balcony and can accommodate up to 30 persons.
