Lyabi House hotel is ideally located in the old and enchanting part of Bukhara, very close to reservoir called Lyabi Hovuz, from which comes the name of the hotel;it is just across the street from the beautiful central reservoir, which is surrounded by restaurants. Everything you want to see in Bukhara,all the sights of tourism interest is within easy walking distance.This is in the old Jewish Quarter and is very central. Forty - fifty meters away from the hotel can be found areas endowed with singular charms of the old city scenery and spirit. Taking a short leisurely walk from the hotel you can purchase handicrafts and souvenirs and fashion items in the main shopping streets and in the sixteenth century Silk Road markets.
The hotel has a lot of character, which is rare at the upper end of hotels in the country. This modernized hotel in a building dating from at least the early part of the twentieth century is in an alley off a square with numerous hotels, on the edge of the historic city. It is a beautiful old building, with an incredible 19th century dining room and verandah off a courtyard.It is a great base to explore from, easy to return if you need a rest. In Lyabi House Hotel all year round guests are offered a very warm welcome, comfort and personal care. The hotel stuff provides sophisticated accommodation, services and facilities at reasonable prices with pleasing efficiency and easily surrounds you with hospitable environment. The breakfast buffet is good,tasty and all fresh. Breakfast is a wholesome mix of cereals, breads, fruit, cooked vegetable & eggs. Breakfast is taken in the main room of the old house, and it is like being in a museum - down to the "Do Not Touch" notices on much of the porcelain displayed. Maybe too many guests have succumbed to the temptation to pick up a piece to see the manufacturers mark. Good for family with children. There are café and restaurants nearby as well.There is small bar. You will like eating on the "summer porch," which is as attractive as the one at the Emir's Summer Palace. The rooms are simple, comfortable and quiet, despite being minutes away from the central pond of Bukhara.This hotel is calm and quiet even during the day time. It is easy to getback to the room as needed.
