Tashkent Palace Hotel situated in the heart of the city, in a front of the Opera and Ballet Theater Alisher Navoi, not very far from the Independence Square, Central bank and shopping area. The real attraction is the fountain in the square with its light show & evening music to which the locals flock every night (during summer time). Good location let you easily walk to some sights: 5 minutes walk to Mustaqillik Maydoni metro station; 10-15 minutes drive from the airport.
The hotel is in a large, attractively renovated building and seems to cater to a mixed clientele, including tour groups and local weddings. There are a lot of restaurants, cafes and shops in this area of the city. Location is ideal indeed, one of the most posh and prime commercial areas of Tashkent, with an easy access to major commercial and tourist establishments.Hotel can be rather noisy because it is located next to two large, busy roads, because some rooms face directly onto them.Please make sure that you’ll not be placed into one of those rooms, otherwise you might end up with a lot of traffic noise being projected into your room. Also it might be noisy because of fountain with a light sound show in the front side of the hotel.

The elegant 232 (149 Deluxe, 29 Twin, 39 Superior, 5 Executive, 8 Junior, 2 Suite) well furnished centrally air-conditioned rooms with modern amenities are designed for sheer comfort. Rooms are very nice and comfortable,quiet and spacious, efficient A/C. Good wide beds with lots of pillows. There is decent size bath and very powerful shower, literally industrial-strength water pressure. Mini-bar in each room filled in upon request.The hotel will suite those coming for business, it lacks charisma but is very functional. Staff is very helpful though not everyone speaks good English.

Breakfast buffet is very good: lot's of fruits, fresh bakery and pastry, meats, salads and omelets, wide range of standard western and local delicacies. There is a good choice of dining facilities with several restaurants operating in hotel premises. Guests can dine at Tashkent Restaurant - a multi cuisine restaurant that serves a wide range of Uzbek and Continental delicacies. A la Carte menus as well as buffet are available throughout the day. Chorrakha Courtyard Restaurant operates only in summer period and is located in courtyard garden next to outdoor pool. It offers an exotic blend of light European meals and luscious Uzbek-style barbecues. Sharque Yulduzi Restaurant located on the rooftop also operates only summer months from 19:00 until Midnight daily (during the summer season), offering guests wide range of local and international specialties as well as must-see daily entertainment dance shows, including belly dancing, as well as traditional Uzbek music.
The hotel also has a 24-hr Coffee Shop and a well-stocked bar in the lobby areas.The evening meal also good at this hotel but you may prefer to eat in some of the restaurants in the nearby park (out of the front door & turn right going past the side of the department store).
