Art week in Termez, Wednsday, December 23 - undefined

Uzbekistan Academy of Arts Karakaplak and regional departments heads, Specialized Art Schools and Colleges Heads and artists have participated at the meeting. Our country is much attentive and careful towards developing spiritual and educational spheres, namely, upbringing the coming generation within the limits of respect to universal values, identifying and encouraging young talents.

The organization of Uzbekistan Arts Academy in accordance with the decree of the President dated September 11, 1997, has become a strong stimulus for further expansion of operations towards all round support of Arts workers. Currently, over thousands of Artists are involved in creative searches in our country. Over 15 colleges and specialized schools are open for talented youth. Well-qualified professionals are trained and educated in the National Institute of Arts and Design, named after Kamoliddin Bekhzod. Such contests as “Yangi Avlod” and Kelajak Ovozi are held to bring and encourage young talented people.   

 

Our artists’ creative works are highly valued abroad. Particularly, group of Uzbek Artists’ exhibition, organized this year in Moscow, has attracted art lovers’ huge interest. During 2009 the management of Arts Exhibitions has organized over 70 exhibitions, around 10 thousand art works have been presented. Almost 1 mln people have visited the exhibitions, big number of which is young people. At the end of the meeting, around 50 masters have been accepted to the Artists’ Creation Union.
