The article emphasizes Splendors of Uzbekistan and describes rich cultural, historical, scientific, and religious heritage of the country.Speaking about Samarkand, Malaysian journalist notes that, in the heart of this ancient beautiful city, there are a number of architectural ensembles from the times of Amir Temur, blue domes which represent a kind of calling card of this city.Zalina M. Som draws attention to the history of art, literature, architecture and science in Samarkand. She appeals to readers to visit the famous Registan Square, that it is impossible to present all the majesty of Samarkand without visiting this place.Due to the fact that the city has many historical monuments, including Ulugbek Observatory, the world famous Shahi Zinda necropolis, mosque of Bibi Khanum, it is difficult to decide which of them is the most amazing monument, because they are all beautiful - notes Zalina M. Som.Bukhara is full of surprises with unusual terra-cotta, blue and green colors, intricate patterns and textures of brick buildings in the old part of Bukhara. Samanid’s mausoleum is a classic proof of the above - adds a journalist. She notes that the visit of the town gives a lot of fun, especially trip to Lyabi Hovuz and to the ensemble around this pond.Speaking about the Tashkent city the capital of Uzbekistan, Malaysian visitor tells about the close interweaving of history and modernity in the city. She notes that, in addition to historical monuments, there are beautiful modern buildings, wide streets, landscaped parks and shady avenues, elegant restaurants with international cuisine in Tashkent. She also concludes that the city is bright and clearly reflects the changes in Uzbekistan, which took place after independence. Zalina M. Som emphasizes that government of Uzbekistan after the independence is focusing special attention to the revival of history, culture, traditions and customs of the people and to the restoration and reconstruction of historical monuments and holy sites, ensuring peace and harmony among members of more than 130 nationalities living in the country. Improvement of historic towns of the republic, as well as creating an enabling environment for the development of tourism infrastructure, has become a priority of the state.
