The Dutch city of Utrecht is hosting a prestigious international touristic fair «Vakantiebeurs 2012", the largest in the Benelux countries. More than 2 thousand travel agencies from 150 countries around the world attend this large event, occupying 85 thousand square meters of exhibition space. The most widely represented are companies from European Union, North and South America, with several individual pavilions from countries in Asia and Africa.
Organisers expect around 150 thousand visitors - potential customers for European tours and long-distance travelers. Information on tourist destinations, hotels and tickets booking options offered by tour operators is included in the official catalog of the fair, that could be ordered by post and e-mail. In the centre of the huge exhibition hall there is a large booth, where customers can get advertising materials from travel companies attending the fair. There is also a concert halls, where artists from different countries demonstrate their national song and dance art.
A number of large Dutch and Belgian tour operators presented at this fair offer several programs to visit Uzbekistan. Their bright and colorful advertising catalogs and brochures provide detailed information about our country, its historical and cultural heritage and architectural landmarks. According to senior managers of several European travel companies, the Great Silk Road route is one with the big potential and will be undoubtedly very popular among visitors from the Benelux countries.
