The exhibition center «Brabant Hall» Belgian city of Leuven hosted an annual popular touristic fair «Hobo Reisen». It was provided with information about the tourism potential of more than 40 countries. Within one day of the fair was visited by over 10 thousand people.
With the assistance of a diplomatic mission in the country of Belgium in the framework of this fair was organized presentation of touristшс potential of Uzbekistan. On a special stand was deployed colorful exhibition, where many visitors could get acquainted with the unique natural beauty, unique historical and cultural monuments located in the ancient cities, information materials on touristic potential, as well as the exposure objects of applied art of Uzbekistan.
Visitors of the presentation was shown a film about a rich historical and cultural heritage of Uzbek people, architectural sights of the country, as well as the achievements of the country in various fields, including in the area of improving tourism infrastructure.
The result of Uzbekistan’s participation in this fair is numerous preliminary applications of representatives of the Benelux countries to participate in tours to Uzbekistan in 2012. Among the visitors of the Uzbek exposition organizers of fairs was performed free trip to Uzbekistan.
