Uzbekistan invites guests from the Land of the Rising Sun
Presentation dedicated to the touristic attractions and rich cultural heritage of Uzbekistan held in Tokyo. It was organized by the diplomatic mission of our country together with the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA), with representative of the National Airline "Uzbekistan Airways", a Japanese touristic company «AJT INC».
Representatives of Japanese travel companies acquainted with great interest with the new routes for tourists in the city of Rishton, Jizzakh, Termez and information on international and local lines of the national airline, as well as the historical cities of Uzbekistan, national cuisine, as well as new tourism programs.
During the presentation, director of international travel Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) Toshiaki Shigeta noted that the high tourism potential, rich culture, traditions and architectural monuments of Uzbekistan are important factors for attracting foreign tourists. T. Shigeta said that, historically, people of Japan and Uzbekistan connected by Great Silk Road, extending to the Japanese city of Nara, but which center is situated in the territory of Uzbekistan.
Deputy General Manager, Department of International Travel JATA Hiroshi Yanagida reported that members of the Japan Association of Travel Agencies is showing great interest to Uzbekistan and further plans to regularly organize tours for Japanese tourists. The presentation was attended by more than 20 Japanese touristic organizations. Organizers are confident that its holding itself will contribute to the development and organization of tours to Uzbekistan, will lead to a significant increase in Japanese tourists to visit historic cities such as Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and Tashkent.
General Director of the Japanese touristic company «AJT INC» Eidji Ivase said his that his company is a partner of the National Company "Uzbektourism" in Japan for over 11 years, organizes tours for Japanese tourists to Uzbekistan.
E. Ivase said that every year increases the flow of Japanese tourists to Uzbekistan. Representatives of many Japanese travel agencies have already expressed their intention to offer the citizens of the rising sun new tour packages to the historic city of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Director of the Japanese touristic company «AIR CRYSTALL INC» Taeko Fushima said that her company organizes tours to Uzbekistan for Japanese tourists, and in June of this year under the "Mega-info-tours" had the opportunity to visit Uzbekistan. T. Fushima noted that the rich cultural heritage and good-natured, sincere attitude of the people of Uzbekistan has left her indelible impression.
She emphasized that the national Uzbek cuisine with a delicious and unique taste will surprise all the Japanese tourists. At the end of the conversation T. Fushima expressed its intention to develop and propose that the Japanese public for new routes to Uzbekistan.
