"The East has always been for lovers of art inspiration"

An exhibition of oriental culture "Festival of the East" was held in the Italian town of Marina di Carrara (Tuscany region), in which along with other countries was an exposition about Uzbekistan. Detailed information about the tourism potential of Uzbekistan was presented at the exhibition, the priority areas for tourism development in the country, rich spiritual and cultural heritage of our people, unique historical landmarks of the ancient cities of Bukhara, Samarkand and Khiva, but also exhibited the works of applied art masters. Information contributed to enrich understanding of the present level of development of our republic. Some participants shared their impressions of the event.

 

Director of the organizing committee of this exhibition Angela Bertelloni noted that the expansion of tourist exchanges between Italy and Uzbekistan is an important component of mutual cultural enrichment. "The luxury of Uzbek national robe, rich headdresses, shiny pottery and unique works of applied art masters has left vivid impressions of the Uzbek pavilion visitors. East has always been for lovers of art inspiration, "said A. Bertelloni.

 

The Mayor Angelo Carrara Zubbani emphasized that Uzbekistan is one of the earliest centers of human civilization and its territory under the security of the state are more than 7000 sites. He praised the government policy to restore the republic, restoration and protection of historic heritage. "This policy provides a high spiritual and patriotic potential in the young generation," said A. Zubbani.

 

According to the Mayor Councilor Carrara Andreatstsoli Djuzeppini, the ancient city of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva by promoting trade and cultural exchange between East and West have made an invaluable contribution to world civilization. "One of the principal assets of Uzbekistan is the abundance and diversity of historical and architectural sightseengs, most of which have a special place in the world cultural heritage", summed D.
