In recent years, tourism in Uzbekistan has become one of the fastest growing areas. In this regard, it is evident that the development of new varieties of tourism in the country, one of which is ecotourism. In Uzbekistan, thanks to the unique nature of the region, there are all conditions for the development of this type of tourism. In connection with this invaluable experience of states that ecotourism has become traditional, such as the United States.
Ecotourism originated in the US in 80s of the twentieth century and since then has been steadily growing. It generates more than half the demand for tourist trips to the field of international eco-tourism and focuses the world's largest number of organizations associated with this type of travel. International Society of Ecotourism (ISE), established in 1990 in Florida, has identified this species as "responsible travel to natural areas that preserve the environment and support the welfare of local people."
In the U.S. there are many different types of ecotourism. Its objects are both natural and cultural attractions, natural and man-made landscapes, where traditional culture and environment are integrated. The country has extended ecological boating, hiking, skiing, horseback, bicycle, automobile, aircraft (gliders, balloons) as well as agro-tourism. Agro-tourism - a type of eco-tourism, which offers wishing to gain experience agricultural life "firsthand." This species grows in the US in small towns and rural communities.
Important objects of ecotourism in the United States are the national parks which account for 300 of the 800 million trips within the country each year. National Parks, which of them come to visit hundreds of millions of people all over the world are proud of the country. Very popular in the United States enjoyed trips to Alaska. In conclusion, it should be noted that over the past 10 years, ecotourism has become especially popular and can become a serious tool for the development of the Uzbek tourism in general and to open new horizons for our country in this field.
