A new passenger terminal capacity of 400 passengers per hour was put into operation at the international airport "Bukhara" on October 31, 2011. The new terminal was built in accordance with the decree of the President "On the acceleration of infrastructure development, transport and communications construction in 2011-2015."
The terminal is equipped with modern equipment, designed to provide round the clock customer service, optimum conditions for departing and arriving passengers as well as service terminal. The new terminal according to international standard has all kinds of services: VIP and CIP-room, room for mother and child, health center, ticket office, currency exchange, post office and duty free shop.
Construction of the terminal was carried out on the basis of modern technological requirements for terminals with international status, and the layout of the terminal is solved with the successful organization of the passenger. SUE "UzshaharsozlikLITI" acted as General design organization, as General Contractor acted- LTD "MPMK-47" associations "Buhorojamoakurilish."
Today Bukhara airport accepts all types of aircraft. In the first nine months of this year were served 1914 plane crash and carried more than 74.1 thousand passengers, which is 19% more than planned. Shipment for the period amounted to 57.9 tons of mail - 11.4 tons, an excess baggage - 12.4 tons.
