France supports the monuments in Shakhrisabz, Uzbekistan
General Council of the Dordogne in France expands cooperation with Shakhrisabz city municipality in project to raise awareness of the Timurid heritage.
For this purpose, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs has allocated 116 000 Euros.
The project will develop a program for the exchange of knowledge and techniques of conservation and restoration of monuments, in particular the Ak-Saray Palace, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
