Tashkent International Tourism Exhibition (ТIТE) will spend this year 17 times. Now over 710 tourism organizations, 261 licensed firms for granting of hotel services operate in our country. The tourism industry of Uzbekistan during the last year’s dynamically developing; internal tourism has grown on 19 %. Over 1 million 353 thousand tourists from all over the world countries have visited Uzbekistan in 2010 year.
Uzbekistan is the country of the greatest cities with hundreds architectural monuments of various epoch. Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Shakhrisabz, Termez, Tashkent and Kokand are known worldwide. These cities, coevals of Rome and Babylon, have reached the blossoming at the time of Amir Temur's board (Тamerlan) XIV-XV centuries. These cities were the largest centers of culture and a science. The best minds and hands of that time were flown down in these cities. The world has been amazed by luxury and magnificence of palaces, minarets, mosques, the mausoleums created by the well-known architects of the past.
World renowned monuments of ancient architecture still remember times of gains of Alexander and Chingizhan." Great Silk Road ", one of the most considerable achievements in the history of a world civilization, also lay through these cities. For maintenance of comfortable and safe stay of tourists in these historical cities, and to this day filled the spirit of olden time, had been enclosed many efforts.
A considerable quantity of new hotels and the guest houses has opened, new restaurants and cafe have reached level of the international standards, modern vehicles, from cars, comfortable tourist buses to high-speed trains and planes, transport the increasing quantity of tourists. The high-mountainous village Chimgan uses the increasing popularity (1650 meters above sea level) at admirers of ecological and extreme tourism. It is in 85 km in the southeast from the capital of Uzbekistan – Tashkent and is a unique mounting skiing resort of Central Asia.
