NC "Uzbektourism" makes active participation of the insurance companies in tourism development
Leaving abroad, the tourist frequently appears in an extreme situation: change of a climate, water, food and set of other changes can cause certain problems. Insurance companies can help to tourists in such situation.
Today tourists besides a suitcase and a camera take with themselves the insurance policy. Moreover, in many countries presence of the insurance policy providing certain protection and financial indemnification at insured events, is the integral condition at departure of persons abroad.
Conference «Tourism and insurance» has been devoted to the development of the insurance services market and interaction strengthening in tourism and insurance sphere. Representatives of insurance community from 20 countries, including Kazakhstan, Korea, Morocco, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, France, Czechia, and also participants of tourist industry of the country have gathered in one of the tourist centers of Uzbekistan – Khiva. Insurers, tour operators – have agreed with the general opinion: there are unused possibilities of touristic insurance, and this direction has the big prospects in our company.
Participants have familiarized with investment possibilities of tourism insurance in Uzbekistan, have discussed possibilities of the further integration of the insurance market of the country in the international insurance community, and also attraction of insurance questions in tourism sphere of national and foreign investments.
