Uzbekistan at the International Tourism Fair in Brussels
Tourist potential of Uzbekistan was presented by the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Belgium with the assistance of the Belgian Tourist Company «Hobo Reisen» at the annual fair, which is one of the largest tourism and travel around the world.
Number of companies in the Benelux countries, offers visitors tours to Uzbekistan this year has increased significantly. The total number of visitors of the fair was over 120 thousand people.
Attention tourists were offered one-and two-week tour to historical cities of our country, to mountain and desert trails.
According to the commercial manager travel company «Joker Kaap» Dzhoroen Winky, his company for several years successfully implementing travel for European tourists to Uzbekistan.
- Of course - said the manager - today tourism market is extremely saturated with various lucrative offers. There is great competition. And yet, interest in Uzbekistan in Europe is growing more and more people would visit the ancient land, in order to see firsthand the beauty of this area.
He notes that "No wonder Uzbekistan is called the heart of the Silk Road." Located on the territory of such ancient cities of the world as Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and Karshi, Tashkent, with unique cultural and historical monuments to this day "the imagination of travelers.
Anton Moeskops, manager of the company «Koningaap» and stressing the excellent state of historical monuments and architecture of ancient cities, museums, noted that "the current level of development of tourist industry of Uzbekistan meets the highest international standards."
Numerous visitors to the event also had the opportunity to become acquainted with national songs and dances, product masters of folk arts of countries participating in the fair.
