A series of events to educate the Italian public with modern Uzbekistan developments hosted in San Pietro, Italy.
As part of the "Day of Uzbekistan held a presentation about the investment and tourism potential of the republic.
The guests were presented with documentary films, "Uzbekistan on the path of development" and "Pearls of Uzbekistan". The visitors have also familiarized themselves with a photo exhibition on the history and architecture of the cities of our country, with works of masters of folk arts and crafts.
The mayor of San Pietro Fabio Infina Vekkiarino in his speech noted that "Uzbekistan is a key state in Central Asia and geopolitical bridge between Europe and Asia." In his words, today Uzbekistan is one of the few countries in the world who have managed to timely measures not only to prevent a crisis in the country, but also to show sustained economic growth.
Representatives of Italian tour operators have expressed interest in further expanding and deepening cooperation in the tourism sector, have expressed willingness to assist in conducting similar presentations in other regions of Italy.
The event was attended by the heads of the administration of the five cities of the Campania region, MEPs from Italy, scientific academia, media, major travel companies and companies in the region.
