President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov will pay an official visit to Japan on 8-10 February on the invitation of this country’s Prime Minister Naoto Kan.
During the visit, issues of expansion and deepening of the Uzbek-Japanese cooperation, as well as important problems of regional and international character will be considered.
Signing of a number of bilateral documents aimed at deepening interaction between the two states in various areas is expected.
