The prestigious international tourism fair "Vakantiebeurs 2011" was held in the Dutch city of Utrecht, which brought together more than two thousand tourist companies from 160 countries.
At the fair, broad and bright were represented a lot of tourism companies of the EU, Latin and North America as well as Asian and African countries.
During the fair was attended by about 150 thousand people - lovers of regional European tours and longer trips. Numerous creative advertising materials were well represented in each section of a fair exposition.
Along with others, a great success enjoyed tours to Uzbekistan, proposed by Dutch and Belgian travel agencies.
The representative of the Netherlands’ largest company "Koningaap" Anton Moeskops, organizing tours to Uzbekistan tourists from Benelux countries, repeatedly visited Uzbekistan, said his admiration for the wealth of spiritual and historical heritage of Uzbekistan, the cultural and historical monuments, ancient cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and Tashkent, friendliness and hospitality of Uzbek people and, of course, delicious dishes of the Uzbek national cuisine. According to Anthony Moeskopsa, Uzbekistan has an enormous tourist potential, comparable with one of Egypt, Malaysia, Singapore, Italy and others.
Through this fair residents Benelux countries had the opportunity to become acquainted with the rich tourist potential of Uzbekistan.
