New Year lights in Intercontinental Hotel

Bright, extravaganza, musical, extremely beautiful and fantastic … Only similar epithets can describe the opening ceremony of the New Year season took place in the hotel InterContinental Tashkent.

So-called Tree Light Ceremony, the ceremony of switching on the Christmas tree lights, annually organized on the eve of the New Year holidays, has become the kind tradition in this hotel.

“By this action we announce the beginning of the New Year festivities. We try to present to our visitors a New Year fairy tale, as everyone is expecting to see miracles and magic. And we, in our turn, are glad to thank our partners that support us and assist,” says the hotel manager Lola Ziyauddinova.

It is barely possible to remain indifferent to such beauty. A big house of gingersnaps, bushy and decorated with lights the celebratory fur-tree, the aroma of spices, New Year beverages and celebratory choirs evoke pleasant feelings, touching the most innermost hopes of our soul. Each could be infected by joy, love and kindness dominating here.

“We are looking forward this holiday for the whole year,” tells Daniela Francesca Oglinzanu, the project manager of the Volunteer Organization “A Child A Smile.” “And it is pleasant to us to have a good evening in friendly company and cozy atmosphere. We watch with children a cartoon film “Beauty and the Beast. Christmas Story.” We try to share happiness and joy, and everything will be good in our life.”

In such a celebratory atmosphere when floodlights leave gentle shades on beaming faces of visitors, and the happiness is felt in air, the kindest and sincere wishes sound.

“I wish all calmness and all dreams come true in a new year. After all, new year is always the transition to something new, best. And only the best is always waiting for us ahead, just believe it,” shares her emotions the guest of the evening Svetlana Horton.

“I wish everyone health, because it is invaluable, and, sincere kindness also, so that we always were open-hearted, sympathetic and generous towards those who need us, and the most important – to children. And not only on the eve of New Year, but all year round,” wishes the visitor Valeriy Palan.

Looking around, you understand that neither sparkling Christmas-tree decorations, nor motley tinsel, but friendly hosts create cozy and celebratory atmosphere having presented their guests the cherished holiday.
