Uzbekistan Havo Yollari national airline participated at the first Islamic Tourism Conference & Travel Market (ITCM) 2010 in Kuala-Lumpur, Malaysia. The Forum was organized by Islamic Tourism Center at support of Malaysia Tourism Ministry and dedicated to development of tourism among countries of Islamic world and attracting tourists from western states.
Over 250 representatives of businesses, investors and tourism organizations from Muslim and non-Muslim states, interested in developing tourism industry, participated in the forum.
Exposition of Uzbekistan attracted great interest of visitors. The exposition was prepared by Uzbekistan Havo Yollari and Uzbektourism. The exposition presented information on unique tourism sights of Uzbekistan, tourism potential, etc.
The Uzbek delegation also held presentation on tourism potential of Uzbekistan and opportunities of national airline. Malaysian tourism operators offered cooperation on promotion of tourism products of Uzbekistan, including through organization of info-tours to Uzbekistan. Participants of the forum proposed to hold next ITCM-2011 in Uzbekistan.
