The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Latvia organized the presentation of tourist potential of Uzbekistan. National Air Company "Uzbekistan Airways" and other Uzbek tourist companies invited over 30 representatives of the Latvian tourist agencies, and journalists of local media. Report on the meeting published in daily Latvian newspaper "Chas" and on the online newspaper "The Baltic Course”.
Today, tourists from the Baltic countries thoroughly investigate the European continent, leaving for later countless beauty of Central Asia. This also applies to residents of Latvia who, by virtue of age or other reasons, did not have time to make a trip to Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara, Samarkand, and Termez, noted at the presentation. Latvian tour operators were provided with the program "On the way, the caravan - 2010", which includes many historical Uzbek cities on its main directions.
