Abdulaziz bin Harun: «Malaysia highly appreciates the cooperation with Uzbekistan. Our people are pull together by similarity of cultures and values, traditions and customs. It is remarkable, what even dates of celebrating of the independence are close - in Malaysia Independence Day is marked on August, 31st, Uzbekistan will celebrate this date on first of September.
Uzbekistan, as well as Malaysia, before the independence finding has passed through set of tests. Today our countries thanks to a management forward-looking policy have reached high boundaries.
We see, how Uzbekistan, without undergoing any economic and political shocks, confidently goes on own way. Reforms carried out in Uzbekistan are aimed at the further increase of a standard of well-being of a life of the population.
With pleasure I wish to notice that the communications of our countries based on friendship, mutual respect, trust and interest, consistently develop in political, trade and economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian spheres.
If to speak about the most perspective areas of the cooperation between Uzbekistan and Malaysia, it is possible to allocate tourism. In this sphere both countries possess huge potential. The Cultural-spiritual affinity and the developed tourist infrastructure are the important factor of increase in a stream of tourists from Uzbekistan to Malaysia and from Malaysia to Uzbekistan.
It would be desirable to notice especially that the main riches of Uzbekistan are its hospitable, goodhearted and sincere people, therefore, taking an opportunity, with all my heart I congratulate the people of Uzbekistan on coming nearer holidays - Independence Day and
