Uzbekistan at the International tourist exhibition in Moscow on Tuesday, May 19
The presentation of tourist potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan has taken place within the limits of opening of the ninth Moscow International tourist fair «MITF-2009. Tourism and Leisure» in the Moscow expo centre "Gostiniy dvor". It has been organized by the Fund «the Forum of the culture and art of Uzbekistan» and Bureau of the international youth travel and cooperation "Kelajak-tour" with assistance of the Russian travel agency «In the world of imaginations».
The international tourist fair «MITF» is the largest Russian exhibition action in tourism sphere, which is held annually by a city government of Moscow. Its distinctive feature focused on the end user. During four days of work of fair have collected in "Gostiniy dvor" representatives of more than thousand companies from Russia and the world, and the general exhibition area of «MITF-2009» has made over 4 thousand square meters this year.
The guests have been acquainted in details with a high level of development of tourist business in the republic, the conditions created here and a modern infrastructure for stay of the Russian and foreign tourists, world famous monuments of history and architecture, other sights. To the actions for celebrating this year the 2200 anniversaries of capital of Uzbekistan have been given the great attention.
Tourism guides, information brochures and booklets, disks with music and photos, other materials opening tourist potential, many-sided culture and traditions of the Uzbek people have been offered to the visitors of the presentation.
